When I first arrived on the location for our shoot Saturday, I was a little worried. Camp Cronin where we were supposed to photograph was under construction. (Who knew a beach could be under construction?) Luckily my clients were up for an adventure and we were able to follow a VERY muddy secret path that lead to a beautiful beach with the light house in the background! Although J was a bit stingy with his smiles at first, I soon learned the secret weapon to unleash the grins, just say, "Butt cheeks!" I may be using this in future sessions ;)
Here is just a small sneak peek because I don't want to spoil the Christmas cards. Have a Happy Thanksgiving everyone and enjoy the preview!

C Family Session
Blackstone River and Canal Heritage State Park was the beautiful setting for the C family's photo shoot on Sunday. I had no idea about this historical park and the C family were such good sports as I dragged them down paths and along rivers to capture some gorgeous shots! The girls were so wonderful together and there were definitely a lot of laughs throughout the session! I have known the C family since our little ladies were in Kindergarten together and I was honored to be able to catch some special memories for them. Enjoy the sneak peek!

K Family Fall Session
The gorgeous foliage has been hanging on even as we head into November, setting the perfect backdrop (along with a babbling brook and stone wall) for the K Family. They hold a very special place in my heart, as Mom and I have been close friends since kindergarten! Watching their beautiful family grow to seven with the addition of baby S this year has been such a blessing! I absolutely loved spending some time with all five of the children as they chose a special spot to have their individual pictures taken. From shy and serious to adventurous and daring, I think a little bit of their personalities definitely comes through in the pictures! Thank you for sharing your beautiful family with me. Enjoy the sneak peek!

B Family Session at Chafee Preserve
I love photography for many reasons, but one of my favorites is it allows me to reconnect with people I haven't seen in a long time. This was definitely the case with the B family! I went to elementary school with J (I won't say how many years ago) and through Facebook, we connected again and I was able to meet and photograph his beautiful family. It's crazy how much his son looks like him at that age! I am thankful to have had the opportunity to capture some special moments between Mom, Dad, gorgeous G and handsome J. It was also nice to catch up on what has happened in our lives since 6th grade! I hope you enjoy your sneak peek!

Family Mini Session at Prescott Farm
I first met the B Family two years ago at Mt. Hope Farm in Bristol. I remember their daughters being very shy and reserved, and while they started off that way for a few minutes on Sunday, they were soon running around the windmill and having a wonderful time chasing each other around Prescott Farm! Some of my favorite moments to capture are the natural interactions between siblings, and these adorable sisters gave me every opportunity. Even their dog Mazie was ready for her closeup! Mom and dad also had the opportunity to grab a few couple shots as well. Enjoy the sneak peek!

Prescott Farm Portrait Mini Session
Prescott Farm was the gorgeous setting for my most recent mini-sessions on Sunday. Although the day was a bit chilly, that didn't prevent I from exploring the working windmill, farm equipment and wooded paths. The protected land that the farm stands on is beautifully landscaped and full of interesting history. I was such a good sport and even suggested a few spots himself. He did say his cheeks hurt from smiling by the end, but a chance to climb some trees and the promise of going out to eat after kept those grins coming! Enjoy the sneak peek!
