One Year Old J's Christmas Mini Session

Even though it doesn't feel like winter outside right now, one year old J is definitely in the Christmas Spirit! J is the daughter of one of my awesome alumni, and we had so much fun with her! She loved interacting with all of the ornaments in my studio, sat on the sled, and she even helped decorate the little tree! I am always amazed at the joy and wonder a simple empty gift box and a few ornaments can bring. Once again it took me forever to narrow down my favorites, but here are just a few!

B Family Christmas Mini Session

Christmas season has arrived, and this family is definitely on Santa's nice list! Big sister L was so sweet and her laughter was contagious!  And J had a blast pretending he was sledding down a giant hill and "knocking me over". He kept us laughing with his hilarious faces. Then when they were together, cue the sweet sibling shots! Here are just a few of my absolute faves from this session, although it was extremely hard to narrow them down!

Jax's Dachsund Puppy Session

Ok, I always really enjoy taking photographs of people and children, but this past week I got a special treat. My good friend recently brought home her brand new 12 week old Dachshund puppy named Jaxson. And let's just say the combination of Christmas decorations and an adorable puppy made for cuteness overload! I am so happy for Jax because I know he is now with the best Mom ever and for my friend because of the joy this little guy will bring her! The N Family at Chase Farm

A few months ago I happened to be near Lincoln, RI and stopped by a location I had heard about called Chase Farm. Since that day I have been looking forward to bringing a family there. Sunday I finally was granted the opportunity with the N Family. This was actually a second session for the kids and their awesome Grandma, but it was nice to have the whole family together this year! Sweet Baby J

Last Sunday I met handsome Baby J. He didn't miss a beat for the first half of the session, and was alert and making the sweetest faces. Eventually he did drift off to dreamland as newborns tend to do (modeling is hard work!) and snuggled up with some of his favorite new toys. Mom and Dad are both creative, and had some unique ideas for incorporating their passions into the session as well. Here is just a brief sneak peek of J's newborn session!
