Newborn and Family Shoot with Baby I

On Sunday I met Baby I and her adoring big sister and parents.  L was so attentive and gentle as she told me about her first week of kindergarten and how much she loves taking care of the newest member of her family. Mom and Dad were so relaxed and went with the flow through the newborn and family portions of our shoot. It was so nice to meet such a wonderful and loving family! I hope you enjoy your sneak peek!

J's Senior Portraits

Yesterday I got to hang out with J to take his senior pictures before he starts college on Tuesday. Music is his passion and a big part of his life so we incorporated his favorite guitar into many shots.  I have actually known J for about three years and even traveled with him and his mother to Guatemala last April so it was even more meaningful to capture this momentous time in his life. He even indulged my crazy idea at the end of the session and I think it paid off. Enjoy your sneak peek!

Cape Cod Family Session

Last week I traveled to Cape Cod to photograph one of my favorite families. I had the privilege of meeting the extended family on mom's side. Everyone was together to celebrate a special 60th birthday. All five siblings coordinated their vacations to spend a week together with their mom on a beautiful lake. Watching the siblings, cousins, and significant others bonding and enjoying each other's company was wonderful. They are such a fun and energetic bunch! I loved being able to capture such a variety of poses; from candid images of this kids, to couples and families, to the whole gang. It was a beautiful evening, here are a few of my favorite shots!

Baby A's Christening

A few weeks ago I photographed a wonderful family celebration for sweet Baby A.  After a beautiful christening ceremony I was invited to capture some images of the family celebrating this joyous occasion. Baby A was all smiles as she spent time with friends and relatives on a beautiful day at her gorgeous party. She seemed to sense the importance of the event and all of the love that surrounded her. Newborn N

I am little behind with blog posts due to the end of the school year insanity and getting our house ready to sell, however a few weeks ago I met adorable Baby N and his fantastic family.  Throughout the session it became pretty obvious that N has two favorite things, cuddling and eating. However it all worked out since I was able to do more of a natural lifestyle shoot and capture those real life magical moments that you only get with a newborn baby. N was more than willing to show off those cute tiny features and priceless expressions. It's those small memories that we love to remember and look back to as babies grow. Enjoy the preview!

D and R's Sunset Engagement Session

Yesterday I had the pleasure of photographing D and R at sunset on Second Beach in Newport. We had to reschedule from our original date a week ago and we could not have asked for more perfect weather last night! What made it even better was what a fun and creative couple they are. I have known R and his family for years and watching him with D it was obvious that they are perfect for each other. They were up for all of my suggestions and added their own personality to the shoot. Whether running up and down the beach, hanging in the dunes, or climbing rocks and life guard chairs they had a lot of fun and truly compliment each other. I can't wait to capture more memories at their wedding next year!
