L Family at Salter's Grove

When I asked the L family if they had a location in mind for their family session, they suggested Salter's Grove. Despite living in Warwick my entire life, I had never heard of this small park near Pawtuxet Village. Located in a little cove with a seawall and gorgeous views everywhere you turn, it may be my favorite new location! I enjoyed catching up with my favorite family of hockey players, and they scouted out their favorite spots for portraits. Here is a sneak peek of some of my favorite shots!

Prescott Farm with the F Family

The F family were such troopers as we wrapped up our Mini Sessions at Prescott Farm! I swear, we were constantly checking the weather app (which said intermittent sun!!) while it was actually chilly, foggy and a bit drizzly. However, that didn't damper our spirits! M and L weren't fazed at all and definitely enjoyed checking out the windmill, gardens and orchard. They even did a little climbing... Although the weather was cool there was a lot of love and laughter to brighten up the day! I hope you enjoy your sneak peek!

C Family Mini Session at Prescott Farm

The C family and their adorable (and extremely well behaved) dog Thomas were my second family to enjoy Prescott Farm for their Mini Session. They are always so much fun to photograph because of their sweet interactions and how they make each other laugh! N was dead set on having her photo taken by the corn stalks, and little sister A kept us busy searching for ghosts and dinosaurs! We even got some beautiful shots in the garden with older sister J. As usual, it was a ton of fun exploring and snapping images of this family. I hope you enjoy your sneak peek!

T family Mini Session at Prescott Farm

Prescott Farm was the idyllic setting for my Fall Mini Sessions this year. It is a hidden gem in Middletown that you can easily blow right by without noticing. As you walk around the hedges at the edge of the parking lot, you feel like you are walking back through time. The most noticeable feature is the gorgeous windmill, but as you explore the beautifully maintained gardens, the duck pond, and orchard it is easy to spend hours there! The T family certainly took advantage of the many different backgrounds. Little brother B was definitely shy and serious at first, but after watching his brother run around and having the change to wander the gardens, his smile emerged! Hope you enjoy the sneak peek!

A and D Fall Park Session

Friday afternoon I had a Fall Session at Roger Williams Park with the adorable children of one of my alumni. A was actually my very first newborn session five years ago, and I will be photographing at her 5th birthday party in a few weeks. It is incredible how quickly time flies! It also absolutely cracked me up to see how she makes the same poses that her mom used make all those years ago when she was in my advisory. She is definitely her mom's Mini-Me! Little D had his share of cute candids too. He was so fascinated with the big swan boats floating by and was also so helpful carrying my pumpkins around the park! I hope you enjoy the sneak peek of these gorgeous kiddies!

Newborn Baby M

About three years ago I photographed a sweet newborn little boy, who was really not interested in having his photos taken. He didn't want to sleep, insisted on eating every few minutes, and was a little cranky. This past week, his little sister arrived and showed him how to rock a newborn session! (I have to say, since his newborn session big brother N has always been a pleasure to photograph, he just got off to a rocky start!) Gorgeous little M was an absolute dream, allowing for multiple outfits, headbands, and props, and N was a stellar big brother jumping in for sibling poses on demand!  We were also able to incorporate a special handmade blanket knitted with love for M.  I also LOVED the mermaid outfit. Enjoy the sneak peek!
