D and R Newport Wedding

Last Friday D and R celebrated their wedding on the most picture perfect summer day in Newport. Everything ran smoothly and D was the most calm and relaxed bride to be! From a gorgeous sunset over the bridge to fireworks above Newport Harbor, they really could not have planned a more perfect event. The love and support from family and friends was evident throughout the day, and the dance floor was packed the entire night! Baby A's Valentine First Birthday Shoot!

Yesterday we celebrated Valentine's Day a little early in honor of almost 1 year old A. Her birthday actually falls on the holiday, so that is pretty special! Although she was feeling a little under the weather, A's happy and bright personality definitely won out in her photos. Every outfit was cuter than the last and her giggles and smiles made my job super easy. Some of my favorite shots were actually during the breaks, when she was snuggling with mom and just hanging out. Here is her adorable sneak peek!

Precious 7 Month Old P

Being a photographer has some awesome rewards, but I think the best one is being able to capture images of my friends' little ones. I can't believe P is already 7 months, and she was a super little model this morning! I've been friends with Mom since Junior High, who knew this many years later (I'm not saying how many) we would be having a photo shoot with her daughter in my kitchen! Dad was a huge help too, clapping and dancing and getting tons of smiles. We went with a winter/Christmas theme (fitting in this chilly weather) and P looked like a little angel. Here are just a few of my favorites.

Fall Family Mini-Sessions 2014

The past few weeks have been a bit hectic with moving, cleaning and unpacking, so photography was not at the front of my mind to say the least. However, a friend offered to coordinate a day of mini-sessions in Bristol and I can't thank her enough! I spent Sunday with seven fabulous families at gorgeous Mt. Hope Farm. Between the foliage, the serene pond, rolling stone walls and rocky coast, it was a photographers dream! Every family brought their unique personalities to the shoot and I got the opportunity to catch up with past clients (I can't believe how fast they grow!) and meet some new ones as well. Trying to choose only two of my favorite shots from each family was hard, but otherwise this blog would be pages long! It was truly a gorgeous day and thank you again D for setting it up!!! Handsome 4 Month Baby N

Four months ago, I met Baby N at just a few days old. At the time, he was definitely not into the whole modeling gig. He preferred to be held or to eat. However, yesterday was a whole new ball game. N was up for costume swaps, venue changes, and even an adorable bunny hat. He rocked every pose and it was awesome to see his personality start to emerge. Enjoy the photos!

Newborn and Family Shoot with Baby I

On Sunday I met Baby I and her adoring big sister and parents.  L was so attentive and gentle as she told me about her first week of kindergarten and how much she loves taking care of the newest member of her family. Mom and Dad were so relaxed and went with the flow through the newborn and family portions of our shoot. It was so nice to meet such a wonderful and loving family! I hope you enjoy your sneak peek!
