Brenton Point Family Session

Despite a few sprinkles on the drive down, I had a wonderful shoot with one of my favorite families at Brenton Point yesterday. I feel like the best photos capture natural moments and interactions in a family, and there was no shortage of those in our time together! It also helps that they are amazing friends of ours ;).  We spent some time on the rocks near the water, then moved to a grassy hill where mom had managed to coordinate their outfits to the wildflowers! As always, I had so much fun with gorgeous A and Baby G. I hope you enjoy the shots!

Kristen and Jon

Friday I had the honor and privilege to photograph a beautiful couple on their wedding day. Kristen and Jon are not just friends, they are family. This wedding was even more special since they asked my daughter Claire to be the flower girl. We were all a little nervous at first with the ever changing forecast but the day was absolutely gorgeous and the entire event was perfect. I have never had so much fun during a shoot! To be able to celebrate with two amazing families and have the opportunity to capture their memories was an incredible treat. I could write so much more about the experience but I would rather share it in photos! I hope you enjoy your sneak peek of Kristen and Jon's special day.

Beautiful Baby A

It's amazing how quickly time flies. Two years ago I was taking newborn photos of Baby E, and today he was running around as the proud big brother while I photographed his new baby sister! It is amazing how similar they look at this age, and even mom was joking that she may not be able to distinguish who is who in the photos since we used some of the same props. However Baby A definitely has the sweetest features and demeanor, she was a pleasure to photograph. And I couldn't help sneaking in a few shots of big brother E and the whole family. I hope you enjoy them!

   

Baby V

There is just something so special about a brand new baby! Three years ago I had the opportunity to photograph an amazing couple on their wedding day. You know it's a great wedding when even the photographer is out on the dance floor! When the bride tracked me down a few weeks ago and asked me to do a newborn shoot I was ecstatic. Baby V is already a perfect model just like his parents were three years ago. And just like on the day of their wedding, Mom and Dad were naturals posing with V. It was a pleasure capturing the newest life event in this beautiful family!

18 Month Old J

 Although J was in a serious mood today, his sweet and genuine character emerged through the photos. Those big brown eyes and long lashes are stunning! I had a wonderful afternoon chasing J around the yard while his older sister played with Claire. I also had the chance to catch up with his Mom, who happens to be my good friend, and have a lovely lunch. It was a wonderful afternoon and I think we managed to get a few nice shots!

Showers of Happiness

I am photographing a very special wedding coming up in June for Kristen, a close friend of our family.  I watched Kristen grow up and used to babysit her and her siblings. We are so close that my daughter is the flower girl, which is going to be so much fun! Her shower was on a beautiful snowy afternoon at the EG Yacht Club. Here are a few shots from the day.
